Schweiss Doors roots began its 40-year run in 1980
It’s been a long and winding road since the inception of Schweiss Doors dating back to 1980. During that time many doors have “literally” opened worldwide.
Schweiss Doors is a family run business. But Schweiss realized early on that you have highly skilled employees. Schweiss computer programmers and quality control managers developed a unique computer program that details steel door components, right down to the hinges, nuts, bolts and total hardware.
Today, Schweiss Doors manufactures three great styles of doors. The one-piece hydraulic door; the Bifold strap door and Designer Doors that all cater to businesses, cities, sporting venues and residential uses.
Schweiss revolutionized Bifold Doors with the patented introduction of Lift Straps & Auto-Latches. The magnitude of the doors that Schweiss can build is massive, such as the 90 ft. wide x 61 ft. tall that was delivered to Cape Canaveral, Florida for its space rocket assembly plant.
Schweiss doors roll out to locations worldwide such as China, Russia, Europe, Asia, Costa Rico, Australia, Canada, Mexico and beyond.
